This new municipal facility accommodates two distinct functions. Separated by a firewall, one side houses the municipality’s administration offices, council chambers, committee and meeting rooms, portions of which are open to the public. The other side is used by the Public Works Maintenance Department and includes lunch facilities, a locker room and shower, work bays, storage rooms, tool and welding areas, a storage mezzanine, and a wash bay. The service bays feature large overhead doors on both sides to permits graders, truck/trailers and other vehicles to drive straight through without reversing. Site works include new roadways, parking and storage areas, and new site grading and drainage strategy.
